Our Recognize Community guidelines are a set of rules and recommendations that ensure that all members of a community behave in a respectful and appropriate manner. Our intention is to create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued while building brand awareness and customer loyalty.

The guidelines cover a range of topics, including appropriate behavior, communication, and content. Upon joining the Recognize Community, members should review the guidelines and abide by them or risk being removed from the Community.

Recognize Community Guidelines:

The goal of the Recognize Community is to create an environment where Recognize Admins can connect with each other and share recognition best practices, as well as tips for using the platform. To this end, there are some ground rules we’d like to share when it comes to posting in the Recognize Community.

  1. Respectful behavior:
    1. Members should treat each other with respect and refrain from using derogatory language or engaging in bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
    2. All ideas are welcome and encouraged. We intend for this to be an inclusive space where members can openly share ideas pertaining to the platform and recognition.
  2. Appropriate communication:
    1. Members should communicate in a respectful and professional manner. Personal attacks or inflammatory comments are not allowed.
    2. At this time, our team will not be reachable via Slack DM. This is so that customer communication can be tracked with email. If you need to contact us, please reach out to [email protected], or your designated Customer Success Manager via email.
  3. Moderator activity:
    1. Our moderators will have a designated “(Moderator)” label so that community members will know when they are receiving a response or reading a post from our team. Our executive level leadership team will also have specific identifiers so that community members know when they are reading a message from our leadership team.
    2. While we typically respond to channel posts within the same business day, please allow for a 1-2 business day response time from moderators. Please note that we don’t respond on weekends or outside of normal business hours.
  4. Content guidelines:
    1. Members should ensure that any content they post is appropriate for the community and channel. This includes avoiding posting offensive or inappropriate material, as well as being mindful of the topics that belong in each of the channels. Appropriate topics for each channel are listed near the name of the channel at the top.
    2. Members should be mindful to use threads when responding to a topic so as to keep each channel as organized as possible. This also helps us note how popular a topic or feature may be so that we can serve you better with resources in the future.
    3. Recognize Community Members should remember to reach out to [email protected] with any issues they may be experiencing, as our Community is not intended to replace Recognize Support. While we have moderators in place to engage with members, the community is not being monitored for Support purposes.
  5. Privacy:
    1. Members should respect each other's privacy and not share personal or proprietary information without consent.
  6. Consequences:
    1. Failure to comply with our Community Guidelines may result in removal from the Recognize Community.
